Part of the mission of the Salk Institute for Biological Studies is to train individuals for careers in scientific research. The expectation is that trainees will study in the many new fields developed by Institute faculty, learn the research techniques they have created, and go on to positions of leadership in other prominent scientific institutions. |The Stites Laboratory studies the molecular networks that play important roles in cancer and human disease using both experimental and computational approaches.|
The Stites lab is looking for postdoctoral researchers to work in emerging areas of the systems biology of human disease. Opportunities exist for purely experimental and purely computational scientists, as well as for individuals with expertise in both areas. Current projects focus on the RAS signaling network and its role in cancer and other diseases.
